♥ FRIDAY NIGHT WELCOMING PARTY Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel River Rock Bar October 7th, 6:00 P.M. to 10 P.M. We encourage everyone to join in our Welcoming Party, not just those staying at the reunion hotel. Think of it as a warm up to Saturday night's Big Bash. This will give us a chance to relax and get reacquainted with old school friends. There will be Happy Hour priced tasty food items (menu) and a no host bar and music. ******************************************************** Once again for all you cruisers, we will have our well loved Friday Night Boulevard Bus Cruise. The tour is free (thanks to Steve Weber) and is its own party. We will stop at Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank for French fries and cherry cokes; wander around looking at the vintage cars on display. Then off to cruise Van Nuys Blvd , pausing at various elementary, junior high schools and finally good old Van Nuys High School. ♥ SATURDAY DAY TIME (before the reunion) OCTOBER 8th Saturday will be a loosely structured get together for Universal City Possible Activities are: Bike Tour...free hotel rental Reunion Decorating Hotel pool or tennis courts Bowling at Kirkwood Bowl or miniture golf See the reunion hotel amenities page for more details. This will be a good opportunity to have a real vacation while also enjoying the reunion especially if you brought the spouse or significant other along to the reunion. And will be a fun way to get more into the Reunion weekend and reconnect with old school pals. City Walk has 65 different things to do and is only a few miles from the Hotel. Universal Studios Hollywood Theme Park and StudioTour is a real blast for adults too...we are adults now right! Also only a few miles from the hotel. Golf Anyone? Some of us are interested in a “No Host” game of golf Saturday morning. If you are interested in playing, please sign up here, or contact Joanne Beggs. We are trying to see how many people are interested, for tee times. ♥ SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9th: 9:00am-10:30am - Breakfast in Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel Cafe’ - No host breakfast 12:00pm - Private Tour at Valley Relics Museum - 21630 Marilla St., Chatsworth, CA 91311 THE VALLEY RELICS MUSEUM boasts its vast collection of historical artifacts pertaining to the San Fernando Valley. This private tour of the SFV of our youth is sure to be fun and interesting. Cost $10.00 per person.
